Alan Proctor Jaguar Repairs is a small company based on the edge of Sherwood Forest just off the A57 Worksop ring road, North Nottinghamshire, close to the M1 motorway and A1 Trunk road.
Alan has been repairing car bodies since he started as an apprentice in 1963 working for a small independant garage, so his wealth of knowledge regarding car bodies is vast. In fact one of the first vehicles he worked on was a MK2 Jaguar that had sustained accident damage, due to a collision with an old oak tree.
In 1992 Alan had the opportunity to open his own workshop with a number of aims in mind.
- To produce outstanding levels of craftmanship and quality which is sometimes lacking in modern bodyshops, due in part to the indifference of working on older cars.
- To offer quality repairs and restorations at affordable prices.
- To protect these heirlooms of British Manufacturing for future generations.
Alan has the knowledge and facilities in his workshop to cater for all models of Jaguar, from an XK to the current Jaguar range.

MK1 Jaguar
This is the latest vehicle to be restored by Alan Proctor and David Marks in collaboration with the Jaguar Enthusiast Club for the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust. The story of the work involved will be covered in future editions of the J.E.C monthy magazine and the car will be on display at numerous shows throughout the year.
